Fast Track

Fast Track classes are a specialized study program that enables qualified students to study at a faster pace and acquire a GED® Diploma. The time frame for this class is 3 ½ weeks or 14 days. Fast Track classes are available, at no cost, for students meeting the academic criteria. All Fast Track eligible students must attend classes at selected locations in the service delivery area of Wiregrass Georgia Technical College. Students interested in this program must attend a scheduled orientation/registration to be placed in these classes.

Eligibility

  • Age 16 years old and older and not currently enrolled in school
  • Students 16-17years old will be required to meet special requirements
    • Special permission
    • Parent/guardian permission
    • Withdrawal form from the last school attended
  • Students 18-19 years old will need a withdrawal form from the last school attended
  • Everyone is required to present valid photo identification with birth date

Registration

Each potential student will be required to complete a scheduled orientation/registration prior to being admitted to class in any of the eleven Wiregrass Counties. Currently Fast Track is available only in Lowndes County.
