Transition to College

Wiregrass Georgia Technical College‚Äôs Office of Adult Education provides assistance to students registered in the program to transition to post secondary education after completing their GED®.

Adult Education Credit Pilot Project


The Adult Education Credit Pilot has been designed to give adult education students who have obtained program-ready COMPASS or SAT/ACT scores and who have achieved a General Equivalency Diploma (GED®) as their goal, an opportunity to begin diploma-level credit classes while still enrolled in the adult education program. To participate in the program a student must have obtained passing scores in at least two of the four GED test subject areas.
