Tifton, GA—Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College President David Bridges (right) and Wiregrass Georgia Technical College President Ray Perren (left) updated an inter-institutional agreement recently in order to better serve students at both institutions.
“We are excited about continuing our partnership with ABAC,” said President Perren. “We look forward to creating even more transfer options for our students in the future.”
Based on Board of Regents Policy (303.0602 Career Degrees), ABAC will accept 36 semester hours of block credit (55 quarter hours of credit) to combine with 25-26 semester hours of core curriculum classes (plus 2 hours of health and 2 hours of physical education as an institutional requirement) to award the Associate of Applied Science degree in the following areas: business, health services and technology. In addition, WGTC students must take at least 16 semester hours of the core curriculum hours in residence at ABAC.
Fall quarter at Wiregrass Georgia Tech begins October 4. For information on how to apply for classes, visit www.wiregrass.edu.
