Valdosta, GA— Wiregrass Georgia Technical College Adult Education and GED® preparation classes have started back for the fall after a break during the month of July. Classes are being held on Monday and Wednesday afternoons from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the AG Building next to the Brooks County Health Department. Adult Education and GED preparation classes are free. Students must be 16 years of age or older with a current federal or state ID, and not attending public school.
Instructor Tim Beard is returning to Quitman to teach the classes. Mr. Beard has been teaching adult education and GED preparation classes for 15 years, leaving the Quitman location last year to teach at the Wiregrass main campus. “It is a pleasure to return to Brooks County to help those that are in need of their GED”, stated Mr. Beard. “I feel like I am coming home again by returning to teach in Brooks.” To find out more about the adult education classes or earning your GED credential, please contact Tim Beard at 229-333-2123.
