Fitzgerald, GA— Cosmetology students from Wiregrass had the chance to meet a national recognized name in the nail industry. A Tammy Taylor nail educator from Atlanta visited the Cook and Valdosta Campus locations to demonstrate new techniques being used in the nail industry. Students from the cosmetology programs on the Valdosta Campus, Cook Workforce Development Center, and Ben Hill-Irwin campus participated in the seminar. Tammy Taylor Nails is a well-known brand of nail products and training providers for nail technicians. The company provides resources to nail technicians and salons across the county. The representative from Tammy Taylor Nails presented a class on a 12 step system for nails, a demonstration of the famous pink and white sculptured nail and odorless acrylic.

Wiregrass Georgia Technical College offers the Cosmetology program at all four campus locations in both a day, and evening format. For more information on the Cosmetology Program visit www.wiregrass.edu or call 1-800-575-0567. Spring Semester begins January 7.
