Dr. Nichole Kennedy, current GACRAO president; Blake Coty of Andrew College; Nelda Durkovic WGTC Registrar; Brenda Boonstra of Piedmont College; Teresa Spires WGTC Dean of Enrollment Management; and Clint Hobbs of Young Harris College (GISEM Committee Chair)
Valdosta, GA: Wiregrass Georgia Technical College employees, Nelda Durkovic and Teresa Spires, were recently awarded the Registered Enrollment Professional credential by the Georgia Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (GACRAO) at their annual conference. GISEM, the GACRAO Institute of Strategic Enrollment Management, is an advanced track curriculum for experienced enrollment service professionals and is designed to promote industry expertise in the field of collegiate enrollment management strategies.
GISEM requires participants to attend two annual conference institutes separate from the regular conference, complete three prescribed field experiences at other postsecondary institutions, and submit essays on each visit to GACRAO’s Executive Committee. Completion of the 30 contact hour requirement leads to the attainment of Registered Enrollment Professional.
Nelda Durkovic is the Registrar at Wiregrass Georgia Technical College, and Teresa Spires is the Dean of Enrollment Management.
