Wiregrass nursing students receive their pins

Valdosta, GA— Wiregrass Georgia Technical College practical nursing students on the Valdosta Campus received their nursing pins during a ceremony held prior to graduation on Tuesday, December 11. These 14 students have been in the WGTC practical nursing program for 18 months. The nurse’s pin is part of the nurse’s uniform and is symbolic as a badge of office and achievement and a great honor to receive.

Students receiving their nurse’s pin included Brittni Morton of Nashville; Joi Ryerson, Katelin McLeod, Melody Smith, Alicia Roundtree, Brittanie Cloer, and Nicole Ashley of Valdosta; Chelsie Castleberry of Dupont; Philip Copeland of Quitman; Tinaca Vitone of Ray City; Dallas Sumner and Rosie Harris of Lakeland; and Courtney Burkholder and Tia Florio of Ray City.

These students will graduate from Wiregrass Georgia Technical College at the Fall Commencement Ceremony being held on December 18.
