The Pruning Guru is headed to Valdosta

Valdosta, GA— Atlanta’s well known Pruning Guru, Rick Smith, is headed to Valdosta to share his company’s secrets on the why’s and how’s of pruning. The Valdosta Tree Commission and Wiregrass Georgia Technical College’s Horticulture program are sponsoring a class led by Mr. Smith. The class will be held on June 6 at 9:00 a.m. in the Horticulture classroom on the Valdosta campus of Wiregrass. The classroom is located in Berrien Hall, Room 200.

Mr. Smith, known in Atlanta as The Pruning Guru, has been servicing the pruning needs of Atlanta residential homeowners and associations, commercial centers, and property management companies for over 25 years. Wiregrass Georgia Technical College offers the Horticulture program on the Valdosta campus location. Interested students can apply study for an associate degree in horticulture, a diploma, or a technical certificate of credit in landscaping.
