Even Eye movie promotion flyer
Douglas, GA— “It’s kind of giving me butterflies!” That was the sentiment from one Wiregrass employee that will soon see her face on the big screen. On August 18, the film “Even Eye” by Sidney Bryant Films will debut on the screens of Rockin 8 Cinemas in Douglas, Georgia. Starring in the film are five Wiregrass staff members and students. They have roles ranging from the wife of the lead in the movie to a psychiatrist and choir members.
The movie was written and produced by Sidney Bryant, a native of Douglas and graduate of the Art Institute of Atlanta. He has already produced several short films. “Even Eye” takes a hard look at the life of a religious community leader and what happens when he is faced with a tragedy that sends him down the wrong path. It puts in perspective the idea that those we place on a pedestal are not supposed to make mistakes and what happens when they do. It chronicles the actions of Pastor Nathan Williams after he is faced with the tragic loss of a loved one.
Starring in the film are Latrina Cope, a student and tutor; LiNetha Munford, employee; Paulette Brown, employee; Yolanda Presley, employee and student; and Lidell Greenway, employee. Latrina Cope has been working with Bryant on the film since it began. She serves as Line Producer while also playing the role of Alicia Williams, the wife of the Pastor Nathan Williams, in the film. LiNetha Munford, Paulette Brown, and Yolanda Presley all have parts in the church choir that is seen throughout the film. “I'm really humbled that I was asked to participate and I hope this is the beginning of something great for the young producer,” stated Munford. “I also believe this will be another positive thing for Douglas.” An official trailer of the movie has been released on YouTube at http://youtu.be/fqPlswLeVV8 and the film has a website www.eveneyethemovie.com. Tickets may be purchased online in advance of the film showing.
