Wiregrass Practical Nursing Students Receive Their Pins

Practical Nursing students from the Valdosta Campus receive their nursing pins.

Valdosta, GA— Wiregrass Georgia Technical College practical nursing students on the Valdosta campus received their nursing pins during a ceremony held in the prior to graduation on Monday, December 2. These 13 students have been in the WGTC practical nursing program for 18 months. The nurse’s pin is part of the nurse’s uniform and is symbolic as a badge of office and achievement and a great honor to receive.

Students receiving their nurse’s pin included Crystal Ayer, Matthew Gaddy, Cieshia Jones, Hannah Lambert, Brie Newcomer, Alisha Worthy and Eva Wrinkle of Valdosta; Maleah Beckelheimer of Lakeland; Crystal Bontrager of Moultrie; Rebecca Browning, and William Dobbins of Adel; Payton Hepburn of Remerton, and Mark Kirkland of Hahira.

These students will graduate from Wiregrass Georgia Technical College at the Fall Commencement Ceremony being held on December 12.
