Wiregrass Honors Outgoing Board Members

Valdosta, GA— Wiregrass Georgia Technical College honored outgoing Wiregrass board members at a recent meeting for their years of service to the college, faculty, staff and students. Clifford Pope of Pope Trucking in Atkinson County, Carolyn Eager of Lowndes County, Franklin Patten of FMB Bancshares in Lanier County, Randy Crenshaw of Irwin EMC in Irwin County, and James Lee of Wilcox County were presented with a plaque from the Technical College System of Georgia and Wiregrass in appreciation of their dedication and service to the college.

Carolyn Eager and Franklin Patten served nine years each on the board for Valdosta Technical College and then Wiregrass. Clifford Pope and Randy Crenshaw served 12 years each on the board of East Central Technical College and then Wiregrass. James Lee served on the board for East Central Technical College and then Wiregrass for 14 years.
