Local Businessmen Announce Scholarship Endowments to Wiregrass

Max Harrell, CFO of Crider Foods, Inc.; Mona Paulk, Executive Director of the Wiregrass Foundation North; Billy Crider, Jr., owner of Crider Foods, Inc.; and Milton Clements of Clements, Purvis, & Stewart.

Fitzgerald, GA – The 87th Annual Douglas-Coffee County Chamber of Commerce dinner featured guest speaker and Douglas native Billy Crider. During the event Crider announced that he was endowing $25,000 to Wiregrass Georgia Technical College’s Foundation for a scholarship. In addition, Crider’s long-time friend and Douglas native, Frank Hanna announced that he would match Crider’s endowment with an additional $25,000. Crider is the owner of Crider Poultry, Inc. a poultry processing facility located in Stillmore, Georgia. Hanna is an entrepreneur and chairman of Worldwide Inc.

The Wiregrass Georgia Technical College Foundation North is very thankful for the donation which will be used to provide scholarships to students from Coffee County attending Wiregrass.
