Wiregrass Announces Free Application Day and New Programs for Summer Semester

Valdosta, GA – Wiregrass Georgia Technical College is now accepting new student applications for Summer Semester. All Wiregrass campuses will be holding a Free Application Day on March 18. Any new student who applies in person on this day will have the application fee waived. Free Application Day will be held on the Ben Hill-Irwin Campus, Coffee Campus, Cook County WDC Campus, Moody AFB Extended Campus, and the Valdosta Campus from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Summer Semester classes begin on May 19.

Students interested in taking classes during Summer Semester should complete an application for admissions and apply for financial aid if needed. New student advising and registration will begin on March 31 and last until April 13th for all new students who have been accepted for admission. A second registration period will be open from April 21 through 27th.

During Summer Semester several new programs will begin. An evening program in Barbering will begin on the Valdosta Campus for Summer Semester and on the Ben Hill-Irwin Campus for Fall Semester. A Wireless Engineering associate degree program will begin Summer Semester for the Ben Hill-Irwin and Valdosta Campuses.
