Wiregrass Georgia Technical College Offers Free “Basic Computer Skills” Class for Former SierraPine Employees

Sparks, GA—Wiregrass Georgia Technical College will offer a 2 hour “Basic Computer Skills“ class for free to help former SierraPine employees and other interested Cook County residents. The Wiregrass “Basic Computer Skills” class is offered through the Continuing Education Department and is a non-credit course. This user friendly course will teach participants basic computer components, Windows, Internet, Email, and other practical and every day computer skills. The course content is intended to help individuals with their on-line job search skills and also with preparing for enrollment at Wiregrass Georgia Technical College for Summer Semester which starts May 19th. Former SierraPine employees can enroll at Wiregrass for Summer Semester and have their $20 application fee for admissions waived.

The Wiregrass “Basic Computer Skills” class will be held at the Cook County Workforce Development Center in Sparks, GA on Monday, March 31st from 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm. This course is free of charge. To register for the Wiregrass “Basic Computer Skills” course, interested participants can go by the Cook County Workforce Development Center in Sparks, GA to complete a Continuing Education class registration form.
