Bookstore

The Bookstore is owned and operated by the college and provides textbooks, workbooks, supplies, and materials for students. The store also carries logo merchandise, including jackets, shirts, caps, book bags, etc. Normal hours are 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and 7:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Friday. These hours are subject to change during holidays, semester breaks, and beginning of the semester.

Financial Aid Refunds/Disbursements

The first disbursement of Financial Aid refunds for Summer Semester 2013 for students whose financial aid was authorized on their BannerWeb account on or before May 20, 2013, will be issued on June 17, 2013. Future disbursements of Financial Aid refunds will be July 16 or July 30. Students who were awarded a Federal Direct Loan by April 22, 2013 and are NOT first-year, first-time borrowers will receive their first disbursement on June 17, 2013. Future disbursements of Federal Direct loans will follow the same refund schedule as other financial aid. Federal loans for first year, first time borrowers who have been awarded will be issued on or after June 21, 2013. Disbursements are done in the order that financial aid was approved. Disbursements are now made to the WGTC Visa Debit Card. To avoid a lost or stolen debit card in the mail, fill out a direct deposit form in the bookstore so your funds are available immediately in your bank.

Bookstore Return Policy

  • The original receipt is required for all refunds or returns. The Bookstore does not provide copies of individual student receipts. Students are responsible for keeping the original receipt provided at time of purchase.
  • Students must present a valid student ID for purchases, refunds, and returns.
  • Textbooks may be returned within 10 days of purchase, provided they are in original condition, with no writing, and shrink wrapping has not been removed.
  • Returns will be allowed on textbooks after 10 days if student presents a valid drop form or class is canceled due to low enrollment, provided books are still in new condition, with no writing, and shrink wrapping has not been removed.
  • No returns on general merchandise, supplies, or equipment unless defective. Items must be returned within 10 days of purchase.
  • Refunds are given in the method of payment as indicated on the original receipt (subject to cash availability).
  • Purchases originally made by cash, check, or credit/debit card will not be reversed to Pell after purchase. Students will receive refunds for any unused Pell balances.
