Knowledge of a person’s interests and aptitudes is an important component in developing educational and career plans. Success in a given career is strongly influenced by interest in the field and the potential to learn and excel in that area of work. Standardized career assessment is available to assist students and potential students in exploring their interests and abilities in areas of employment. Career assessment tools currently being utilized to assist the student and counselor in making an informed career path choice include: Career Scope, Georgia Career Information System (GCIS), and GA College 411. Contact the Student Success Centers to schedule a time to complete an assessment.
