Apprenticeships

A Registered Apprenticeship is a career pathway where individuals obtain paid work experience, related classroom instruction, and a nationally-recognized credential.

  • Most apprenticeships are completed in 1-4 years – timelines are determined by U.S. Department of Labor (USDOL)
  • 90% of those who complete their apprenticeship retain employment after completion

For Students

Apprenticeship is a method of training individuals in a trade using a combination of on-the-job skills development and classroom/lab related instruction.

If you enjoy exploring the latest technology used in the field, working with your hands, and earning while you learn, an apprenticeship may be a great opportunity for you!

In an apprenticeship, you earn a salary from day one with guaranteed raises over time as you learn new skills.

For Employers

Apprenticeship is a proven solution for businesses to recruit, train, and retain highly skilled workers.

  • Highly-skilled employees
  • Reduced turnover costs
  • Higher productivity
  • More diverse workforce
