Valdosta, GA – Wiregrass Georgia Technical College (WGTC) is making it easier than ever for students to take the next step toward a new career by offering Free Application Month throughout June. During this time, the college’s standard application fee will be waived for all new applicants.

Prospective students can apply online at www.wiregrass.edu or visit any of Wiregrass’s four campuses—Valdosta, Douglas, Fitzgerald, or Sparks—for in-person assistance.

Advisors in Wiregrass’s One-Stop Enrollment and Success Centers are available to guide students through the entire enrollment process—from completing the application and choosing a major to finalizing financial aid and registering for classes—providing a true one-stop experience designed to make getting started simple and stress-free.

“With more than 100 programs of study in high-demand fields, Wiregrass is committed to helping students get started quickly and affordably,” said Wiregrass Tech Vice President of Enrollment Management, Dr. Todd Jones. “Waiving the application fee removes a barrier and allows more individuals in our communities to pursue education and career opportunities.”

Wiregrass offers programs in healthcare, business and computer science, technical and industrial fields, and professional services. Many programs are eligible for the HOPE Career Grant, which can significantly reduce tuition costs for students pursuing careers in high-demand industries.

The Summer Express Term is now underway, and prospective students are encouraged to apply for Fall Semester classes, which begin August 12. Applying during Free Application Month allows students to take advantage of the waived application fee while securing their place for the upcoming semester.
