Transitioning

Wiregrass Georgia Technical College’s Office of Adult Education provides assistance to students registered in the program to transition to post-secondary education after completing their GED®.

GED® Step UP Program

The GED® Step UP Program has been designed to give adult education students who have obtained program-ready ACCUPLACER, COMPASS, or SAT/ACT scores and who have achieved a General Equivalency Diploma (GED®) as their goal, an opportunity to begin technical certificates of credit or diploma programs while still enrolled in the adult education program. To participate in the program a student must have obtained passing scores in at least two of the four GED® test subject areas. Please contact Arris Hill at arris.hill@wiregrass.edu for more information on the GED Step Up program.
