New students and students who are returning to Wiregrass Georgia Technical College after an absence of at least two years are required to complete a face-to-face orientation for new students. Sessions are held at each campus, and dates and times of all orientation sessions are advertised each semester on the Wiregrass website. All students are required to attend a face-to-face session.
If you were unable to attend a face-to-face orientation session, you may request to complete the online version. Your request must be submitted to the Vice President for Enrollment Management or the Dean for Student Affairs along with a reason for not attending the face-to-face orientation. Upon approval to complete the online version of orientation, please read each slide thoroughly. Some aspects will directly affect your ability to be successful in your program and as a Wiregrass Georgia Tech student. At the end of the presentation, you will receive directions for submitting the completed Orientation Survey so that you may register for classes.
Students who do not complete orientation will have a hold placed on their record and will be unable to register for the upcoming term.
