Michael Williams, our Executive Vice President

Michael Williams serves as Executive Vice President of Wiregrass Georgia Technical College, where he provides leadership in strategic planning, institutional advancement, marketing and communications, and community engagement. Throughout his career, he has held senior roles in higher education, workforce development, media, and public service, with experience spanning college administration, communications and public relations, and partnership development with business and industry.

A published author and storyteller at heart, Williams is passionate about sharing the voices and experiences that shape education and the workforce. As host of The WireCast, he brings a thoughtful, engaging style to conversations with students, faculty, alumni, and industry partners—highlighting the people, ideas, and collaborations moving Wiregrass and South Georgia forward
